BREXIT - is this really the end of the line or is it the start of another chapter to occupy the columns of the press?
Clearly the trust in politics and parliamentarians is running thin and the public’s faith at an all time low.
However, how is one to trust a party when its leader sits on the fence and could not make up his mine one way or the other; and, moreover, where another party does a complete u-turn when previously it categorically stated to honour the 2016 referendum result?
Whatever ones view on Brexit it is time to bury the hatchet and for the elected party to move on and deal with the day-to-day issues that confront us all on both sides of the argument.
Perhaps by doing so, the public’s trust will be restored and faith in democracy once more established.
