A camper van fire which could have spread to other vehicles was put out yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters from Bridport were called to reports of a camper van fire at Burton Bradstock Beach.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said the call came in at around 2.45pm.
He added: “On arrival crews found the fire had been extinguished using an extinguisher from the National Trust, which prevented what could have been a serious fire involving multiple vehicles.”
