Children can watch their flowers grow over summer at a free library event in Lyme Regis.
Dorset Council are hosting its third annual Sunflower Spectacular event at the Lyme Regis library on Silver Street on Saturday, May 18.
Environmental group Turn Lyme Green will provide sunflower plants for families to plant in the library garden.
Each child is given a slate plant label so they can name their plant and watch them grow over the summer.
The event will be from 11am to 12.30pm and is free to attend and there will also be craft activities arranged on the day.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
